Joint Workshop: County, City, RMA, & MPO

The Laredo & Webb County Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (LW-CAMPO) will host the first annual joint workshop bringing together the Webb County Commission, Laredo City Council, Regional Mobility Authority, and the Texas Department of Transportation. The workshop will be held virtually on February 11, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1 PM and will be broadcast online at: https://laredotx.new.swagit.com/views/168/live.
The workshop will be a public meeting for local officials to discuss major regional transportation priorities. Topics will include major roadway projects such as the Loop 20 completion and I-35 widening, future initiatives such as the Freight and Logistics Infrastructure Plan, and other regional mobility issues. One of the major goals of LW-CAMPO is to increase collaboration and alignment between the County, City, RMA, and TxDOT. It is vital that the region speak with one voice when seeking limited Federal and State funds for major transportation projects.
